Pizzarella CDO Opens New Branch in Corrales

Pizzarella, Iligan’s best pizza-makers and home of the famous Madcow, opened their newest branch at Corrales St., Cagayan de Oro on May 26, 2017.

Owned by the Portado family, Pizzarella opened their business in 2012 at the heart of Iligan City. It provides diners with finely crafted pizzas, using the freshest ingredients from able local vendors. The ambience of their place is rustic-inspired yet with contemporary cozy sensitivity.

Their savory pizzas are actually inspired by Italian and Filipino recipes as well as their own kitchen recipes. To know more about their pizzas, please see below some pictures I took during their soft opening:

Deliciouso and healthy, too!

Their Chicago Deep Dish Pizza SPINTO is my new favorite. So Yummy!

Buon Giorno!

To date, Pizzarella have 4 stores opened, 2 in Iligan City and 2 stores in Cagayan de Oro. And they wish to open more in the near future.

Visit the place now and experience their mouthwatering pizza products! I’m sure you will keep coming back for more!

Visiting Iligan City

I’m thinking of going to Iligan City, my birthplace and my late dad’s hometown. I’ve visited the place a long time ago, I guess last I was there was in 2004-2005. I can hardly recall but my eldest child was still small at that time. My paternal grandma is still there and I wish to see her. It’s going to be her 80+ birthday nextweek. And speaking of birthdays, today is supposedly my “youngest” brother’s 35th birthday. But he died already inside our mom’s tummy. I was told that he ‘lived’ for 8 months inside the tummy. It would have been nice to see him with us, his family, but I know he’s happier wherever he is right now. He was also born in Iligan City. I would’ve visited his grave today if I were there. But since it’s impossible for me to go there these days, I hope I can pay a visit to my birthplace soon and hope to see my grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins. We’re such a big family there so it’s going to be fun to see them.
