Gringo Ph Opened Its 9th Branch at SM Cdo Downtown Premier

Gringo: Chicken*Ribs*Friends opened their 9th branch last October 11, 2017 at SM CDO Downtown Premier, Cagayan de Oro City. This was their first branch to open outside Metro Manila.

Gringo, a homegrown restaurant specializes in Latin-Mexican food like chicken, ribs, tacos, and burritos including Catfish. So if you’re craving for some Latino food, then this place is definitely for you.

The grand opening was very well attended by CDOBloggers, Manila Bloggers, Social Media Influencers, Lifestyle Bloggers and Vloggers.

Celebrity Lifestyle bloggers/vloggers Dani Barretto and Verne Enciso were present that night and made Gringo’s grand opening more exciting! And so nice of them to accommodate us with some photo ops 🙂

Celebrity twins Joj and Jai were also there and joined the games. And yes, that’s me and the sweet Dani girl 😀

One of Gringo’s bestseller foods is their Baby back ribs. They also served original or spicy chicken (see right pic).

Above left pic was their fried Catfish, another bestseller. Picture on the right was my plate. It has a little bit of everything: Chicken, Baby back ribs, catfish, Mexican rice complete with side dish (corn and carrots)

Mexican food won’t be complete if there is no taco. Dessert served was composed of sweetened sticky rice topped with ice cream. It was my first time to try such dessert but the taste was good.

If you have’t visited Gringo yet, you can locate them at 2/F SM CDO Downtown Premier and get to experience the Mexican vibe.

Celebrating Local Stories and Talents by Smart Philippines

Last October 25, 2014, I attended a Smart Event which promotes local stories and talent. Smart Philippines is one of the major phone companies in the Philippines and I was glad that they noticed and encouraged people from all over the country to share their talents. Members from the social media partnered with them to promote this awareness especially to the young generation eager to join this contest. Speakers Dr. Antonio Montalvan and Ms. Dorothy Pabayo shared what they knew about the historical background of Cagayan de Oro.
